Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) is a not-for-profit company that markets Melbourne and Victoria as a premier Business Events destination, identifies and bids for Business Events and assists associations to bid for national and international Business Events.
The Organisation
For over three decades, Melbourne Convention + Visitors Bureau (MCVB) has been extremely successful in securing and promoting Business Events for Melbourne and Victoria. MCVB is a not-for-profit organisation and a partnership between the State Government and private enterprise.
Staffed by a dedicated team of more than 30 men and women based in Melbourne, Sydney, New York, London, Singapore and Hong Kong, MCVB can assist you in all aspects of planning and organising meetings, incentive programs, conferences and special events.
MCVB has a current membership base of over 250 companies, including many leading Melbourne businesses, and can provide Meeting Planners with access to a broad choice of the best business events products and services available. Our members consist of accommodation and convention venues, tour operators, service providers, conference organisers, restaurants, retailers, tourist venues and attractions.
